Description: |
This 1911 Altoona shops built electric used 3rd rail DC and were built in semi-permanent married pairs to serve the New York area electrification. The wheel configuration was 4-4-0+0-4-4 or later labeled 2-B+B-2. Only one pair survived and is now located at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. The day in April, 1936 is approximate and the location was listed as Meadows, NJ yard. |
