Farms and Barns
Title:  Farms and Barns
Description:  The whole line of the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is absolutely beautiful, but the segment from milepost 80 to Andrews is by far my favorite. I sure wish GSMRR ran this part on a regular basis.

Mountain and 1702
Title:  Mountain and 1702
Description:  1702 Passing through a residents front lawn and private crossing at milepost T-91.5 things are not so pretty 2/10s of a mile here as a land owner, upset with GSMRR for claiming their ROW, took it at liberty to pile up junk cars from his junkyard as high as he possibly could to block out the view.....oh well, some people have no respect for the beauty they are blessed to live in.

Milepost 88
Title:  Milepost 88
Description:  I like making photographs of railway asthetics as well. Here is milepost T-88. Unfortunattly, it appears someone thought it would be cool to use it as target practice. At this point, the railroad is 88 miles from Murphy Junction just west of Asheville Yard on Norfolk Southern's Salisbury to Knoxville mainline.
