Description:  Built by EMD in 1/1963, this unit was wrecked at Crater, CO on Christmas day, 1968 and rebuilt by EMD and received the large Rio Grande logo then. It was sold to Progress Rail. In 1996, it was sold to Cimarron Valley. Date is approximate. A Forrest Trittenbach photo

Title:  DRGW #3030 - Denver & Rio Grande Western
Description:  This GP35 led an interesting life. Built by EMD in 5/64 (serial #29261), it was a 2500hpbrute. Here it is sitting between RDG 3637 & 3638. It was retired in 12/1993. It was sold to Southeast Kansas RR Nov 1, 1994, and then sold to WAMX & converted to WAMX slug 504 which was semi-permanent mated to WAMX PG35 #3520. Date is approximate. Forrest Trittenbach photo
