Here is another beautiful sepia colored original photo by Boyce F. Martin of Chesapeake & Ohio 2-8-2 Mikado #2313 built by Alco-Richmond in January of 1926. A note on the back of the photo states "Heading east to Lexington at L&N HK Tower, Anchorage, KY. 1950" Specs - serial #66480, class K-3a, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, tractive effort of 67,698 lb. The class was scrapped in the early 1950's |
