Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2261, #2540, #2237, #2312, and #2413. #2261 is an EF-25 built by EMD in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2540 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2237 is an EF-22 built by EMD in 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2312 is an EF-25 built by EMD in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2413 is an AF-24 built by the American Locomotive Company in 1962 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. They are pulling a 93-car TrucTrain past ALTO Tower on their way to Enola and points East with caboose #477550. The eastern slopes of the Allegheny Mountains dominate the horizon. |
