PRR 9454, FF-16, 1963 |
Description: |
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Enola Engine House in Enola, Pennsylvania, sometime during 1963. Prominent here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9454 and #9526. #9454 is an FF-16 built by Fairbanks-Morse in September of 1950, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in April of 1965. #9526 is an EF-15 built by GM-EMD in July of 1948, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in September of 1965. This seems like a wife's-eye-view of railroading! Produced and distributed by FJC Products of Newport, Delaware. ("LouisFols"; #29 of 31) |
