This is Addison. The track off to the left is (I believe) a leftover of the connection for the old Buffalo & Susquehanna, later the WAG. Note it is protected with a derail and switch circuit controller. The Canisteo River is just through the trees farther to the left - I didn't check to see if the bridge was still there. Hurricane Agnes took out a lot of stuff and the susbsequent flood control projects took out even more. Just a single track through here today. |
