PRR 4836, GG-1, 1962 |
Description: |
Electrified. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Edgemoor, Delaware, on 19 June 1962. Shown here is PRR engine #4836, a GG-1 built in Juniata during July of 1935 ~ some 27 years earlier! Along with GG-1 #4800 (not shown), it is pulling a soutbound mixed-cargo freight train into the Edgemoor Yard, just North of Wilmington. |
