Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9900, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company as an H-8C during September of 1910, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-10S in August of 1916, and retired in November of 1949 after 39 years of faithful service. Thanks to Warren Evans (see comment below), the exact location has been identified as the Rose Lake engine house in East St. Loius, Illinois, the last PRR yard and engine house in Illinois before crossing the Mississippi River into St. Louis, Mo. |

Engine #952 is an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata in January of 1918 and retired in June of 1957. |
