Description:  Powerful b&w photo of the 2-8-8-2 "Chesapeake" type steam locomotive built by Alco in June of 1930. The massive unit hauled freight until its demise in October of 1956. Photo credit to Roy F. Blackburn. Location was given as Tunnel, CO. I'm assuming that it means Tunnel #1 in Colorado. Let me know if it's incorrect.
