There CN 9515 (GP40-2LW) and IC 9564 (GP38-2) will diverge from the Neenah sub and head northwest to work indrstries along the Fox River Sub. Seen in Neenah, WI on a rainy 4th of July, 2022.

In the background AP201 with HLCX 1048 (GP38-2) in charge, waits for authority to cross over the CNs Fox River Subdivision from the Kimberly Subdivision of the Foxy to the Appleton yard. An interesting note is that CN 9515 lead the last CN train out of Appleton yard before the FOXY took over earlier this year.

Description:  A year and a half after the Illinois Central-Gulf Mobile & Ohio merger, freshly repainted ICG GP38-2 9565 (ex-GM&O 845) was switching in former IC territory at Hammond, Louisiana. A Cargill RENT-A-TRAIN was passing on the left, while on the extreme right were some passenger cars that belonged to the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. Description:  Wow, does anything say 1980s quite like the old Dodge Rampage? Always found them to be rather unfortunate looking vehicles myself. But speaking of not seeing it anymore, you certainly won't see this or any other railroad action in Red Bud, IL anymore. Rather surprised to find there are no other photos from this location. -- I know there are some out there. Here, an ex-GM&O geep trundles a local turn along the - now abandoned - ex-GM&O line past the ex-GM&O depot in the Spring of 87.
