"Painfully slow" would be the only words to describe how the morning turned out train traffic wise. Both UP and BNSF were silent, and unfortunately the Burlington Junction was quiet as well. We had been getting pretty lucky catching them moving cars around are last few visits here. But today, no such luck. We still went down and grabbed the power sitting still. |

We went back to sit at the park. Still nothing from either railroad. But, after a while, we did hear some talking on the scanner. Not from UP or BNSF, rather the Burlington Junction. Sure enough, the GP15 had been fired up and had a decent cut of cars in tow. And, not too long after, the train began to move toward the BNSF interchange. |
