Title:  CGW 10 - Chicago Great Western
Description:  Built by Alco-Dickson in August of 1907 was caught by photographer Basil W. Koob sitting idle in the Dodge, IA, yard. Originally built for Swift & Co, it was then sold to St Paul Bridge & Terminal as their #10. In 1934, Chicago Great Western purchased it for switcher duties out west. It met its fate when it was sold for scrap to Hyman-Michaels Co in December, 1948.

Description:  This little yard swticher was built for the Chicago Great Western (nicknamed the Corn Belt Route for its Midwest locations) by Alco-Pittsburgh in February of 1919, serial #60456. It served until being sold for scrap to the Purdy Co in September, 1949. No date, location or photographer given for the photo.
