CP 2-10-2 #5787 - Canadian Pacific |
Description: |
Long before an SD40-2 wore the number "5787", this 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive had the honor on the Canadian Pacific roster. Original specs - class S2, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26.5x32" cylindeers, engine weight of 362,000 lb, tractive effort of 65,866 lb. The entire class of 15 locos were retired between 1952-54.
