Description:  Pictured by the coaling tower at Salt Lake City, time had just about run out for 2-6-6-2 3300. Built by ALCo in 1910, 3300 was due for retirement and scrapping in July 1950, two months after this photo.

Title:  Rio Grande 2-6-6-2 3350
Description:  Sitting in storage at Salt Lake City is 2-6-6-2 3350. Built by ALCo in 1916, 3350 was originally Norfolk & Western 1453. It was sold to Rio Grande in 1942 to ease the wartime power shortage. 3350 would be scrapped in July 1952.
