This was one of the NYC SW7's that wore two labels - New York Central on the hood side and the IHB loco under the cab window. An unknown amateur rail fan caught this "hybrid-in-name" loco sitting in downtown Gary, IN. When NYC & PRR merged, this became PC #8905. No exact date was given in 1961 and no photographer's name was given either. |
