Description:  Parked next to the rim of the turntable is this 1924 Alco-Richmond built 4-8-2 Mountain type locomtoive. This was a class 501 with an original number was 201 but immediately renumbered to 502. Specs - 73" drivers, 28x30" cylinders, 200 psi boiler pressure but (boosted later to 225 psi), engine weight of 381,000 lb, tractive effort of 61,619 lb.
