SAL 1633
Title:  SAL 1633
Description:  My prized catch. I am so thankful that the FRRM guys let me go snap some shots of her. SAL RS3 No. 1633 is out of commission due to a bad water pump. The irony is this engine actually belonged to the PRR when it was in revenue service. Nice the FRRM guys saw fit to restore her to something a bit more fitting to the region.

SAL RS3 1656
Title:  SAL RS3 1656
Description:  SAL RS3 1656 at Hialeah, Florida on July 30, 1964, photo by Wally Matuck (sp?), Chuck Zeiler collection. I bought this slde at a hobby shop for 25 cents.

Built in December 1950 (c/n 78475), it may have become SCL 1169. All of the SCL RS3's were retired between 1971-74. It took me about three hours to clean this up, well worth it, thanks Wally, hope I got the last name spelled correctly, he signed the slide mount so I own an autographed Wally Matuck (or Matuch).
