Eastbound T&P |
Description: |
Four Texas & Pacific F7’s and a GP9 were on an eastbound train dropping down the HUEY P. LONG BRIDGE on their way to RACE STREET YARD in New Orleans. All five of the units were equipped with dynamic brakes, which were put to good use on the 1.25% grade here. The GP9 was painted blue and grey, and not the swamp holly orange and black that was used on the T&P’s GP7’s. (approximate month and day) |
