This good looking 2-8-0 Consolidation type steam locomoitve was built by Alco-Richmond in October ofr 1911. During its service, it had a pwer reverse appled in September of 1933. By June of 1951 after 40 years of service, the loco was sold for scrap to Southwest Steel. . Specs - class H-7a, 60" drivers, superheated, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, engine weight of 241,000 lb, tractive effort of 53,125 lb.No date, location or photographer listed for the photo. |
