Description:  Pictured in the yards in Alamosa, CO is S-2 110, a September 1943 ALCo product. 110 was in charge of switching the dual guage trackage at that time. Two years later in August 1963, 110 was sold to to G. R. Silcott who would resell the unit to Kentucky & Tennessee that same month. The K&T would number it 101. K&T would operate it until 1987 when it was sold to El Dorado & Wesson.

Title:  Rio Grande NW2 100
Description:  Paused at Burnham Yard in Denver is Rio Grande's first diesel, NW2 100. It was built by EMD in January 1941 as 7000. 7000 was renumbered to 100 in September 1941. It ran until January 1968 when it was sold to Precision Engineering who would lease the unit to Great Lakes Steel and Youngstown Sheet & Tube. In 1972, Precision would sell it to the East Camden & Highland, where it became EACH 62.

Description:  Seen at Denver in July 1965 is 8 month old SW1200 130. 130 was built by EMD in December 1964. Between 1966 and 1971, 130 was the Grand Junction yard switcher with Slug 25. 130 ran until it was wrecked in 1995. It was sold to several owners and repaired during the process. It was sold to RLIX in the early 2000s and became RLIX 230.

Description:  Seen in the yard at Alamosa is SW1200 131. It was built by EMD in January 1965. 131 would be wrecked at Denver in 1993. At the time of this scene, it was the switcher of the dual guage yard in Alamosa. Prominent is the adjustable coupler for switching both standard and narrow gauge cars.
