The building to the left houses the post office, and I would bet that the PRR once had a siding that delivered here judging by the ramp off the building, the space between the tracks and the building, and how the buildings outward appearance looks.

Description:  Marianchuk. Here is an original photo by J.D. Bounds, Jr., of (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4727 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Caption On Reverse: "Gerard Point Yard. Summer 1945." Both are P-5A (2-C-2) electrics rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4727 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during December of 1932 and retired in March of 1963 after 31 years of faithful service. Wave to the Engineman!

Description:  Marianchuk. Here is an original photo of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7851 and #7850. Both are O-1 (2-B-2) electrics built in Juniata and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #7851 was constructed in June of 1930 and retired in June of 1948, while #7850 was built in July of 1930 and retired in February of 1948. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
