Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XM-32 40495 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in February 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was one of 960 XM-32's sold to United States Leasing International, who rebuilt them, replacing the six foot door with an eight foot door, removing the roofwalk, strengthening the sills, and painting the cars in the pre-merger green paint scheme. It was equipped with the full height ladder on the other end, left in place to access the brake wheel. It was stenciled: BLT. 12.46HV and WHEN EMPTY RETURN TO G.N. AGENT ST. CLOUD, MINN.
