Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XM-2A 41835 at Galesburg, Illinois on August 6, 1982, Kodachrome by Gib Allbach, Chuck Zeiler collection. According to the 1969 Statement of Ownership and Condition of Equipment and the 1967 diagram book, the CB&Q shops at Havelock, Nebraska built 300 combination door 40 foot 6 inch boxcars in 1962, numbered 41600 - 41899. They had a 100,000 pound capacity and all were painted in te ( then ) new Chinese red paint scheme.
