Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class XM-3A 47034 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in June 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The following is from the book, CB&Q Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment, by Michael J. Spoor: Havelock ( Nebraska ) constructed 100 Class XM-3A boxcars during 1963. With an inside length of 50' 0" and numbered 47000 - 47099, these cars were equipped with Waugh shock control hydraulic cushioning, nailable steel flooring, and both 7' and 8' corrugated doors on each side. This car was stenciled: BLT.3.63 HV
