The other observation car is ex-SBD/SCL 775074, exx-SCL 5822, nee-SAL 6402, a coach-obsv built by Budd in 1939 for the original Silver Meteor. Amtrak didn't want it, so it was later used by SBD/SCL as a locomotive simulator instruction car. |
