Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Class HC-1C 182028 at Cicero, Illinois on an nnknown day in January 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This car was one of 350 Class HC-1C cars built by CB&Q's Havelock, Nebraska shops in 1961, number series 181900 + 182249. The Class HC-1C cars were painted in light gray ( body ) with black trucks, Chinese red lettering, and full-color Scothlite heralds. The last 50 cars in the series ( #'s 182200 182249 ) also featured roller bearing type A3 ride control trrcks.
