Description:
Katy heavyweight Pullman Plan #3410A 12 section-1 drawing room (12S-1DR) sleeper SUNNYSIDE (Lot #6023, October 1926, general service pool), sold to the MKT at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture and leased to Pullman for operation, was not repainted to Red & Silver for through service with the Frisco, but remained in Pullman Green and was assigned to the KATY FLYER, until being withdrawn from said lease in March 1963, and was subsequently reassigned to the maintenance-of-way (MofW) department as bunk car #01479, no further disposition info. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide.
