The train is turning on to the westbound track. Research indicates these slabs are made at a steel mill in River Rouge, Michigan, and taken to an AK Steel fabricating plant in Middleton, Ohio. CSXT 604464: CSX Transportation hot steel slab flat car. Light weight, 66,800 pounds. Load limit, 219,200 pounds. Inside length, 37 feet. Built December 2014 by FreightCar America. |
