UP 10 roomette-6 double bedroom (10RM-6DB) sleeper #1447 PACIFIC VIEW (Budd, Lot #9660-039, Pullman Plan #9522, June 1950), #1447 applied in November 1969, sold to Amtrak in December 1971 as #2640, converted from steam heat to head end power (HEP) in June 1978 as #2940, modified to crew dormitory-lounge #2502 in December 1997 (by removing the bedrooms), retired in September 2003 and resold to Batavia & Ohio RY Services, later resold to Hocking Valley Scenic RR. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date, location, and photographer are unknown. |
