#800215 NEW RIVER GORGE
Description:
SAL 48 seat diner #6108 in private ownership. Budd, Lot #9624-009, 1947, to SCL #5913, to Amtrak #8013, retired and sold in 1983 to the NRHS Collis P. Huntington Chapter as HUNX #6108, named NEW RIVER GORGE, assigned an Amtrak #800xxx-series number, specifically #800215, later resold to American Orient Express for a planned AOE II trainset, plans cancelled, car stored at the AOE shops outside of Chehalis, WA, scrapped on site sometime in the 2000's. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide.
