In 2007, RR Donnelley acquired Banta and then in April 2016 created LSC Communications which it then spun off on 1 October 2016. The George Banta Company was once a major employer in the Menasha area, this plant was switched routinely by the Milwaukee Road. |

A boxcar set on the side track at the printing/binding facility on Midway Road in Menasha. Once the crew of the local extracts the on spot cars, this one will be placed at one of the doors. This green space in front of the boxcar once held a glass enclosure displaying one of the George Banta Company's antique presses. Hopefully, it is preserved somewhere in the area. |
