CB&Q XM 41944
Title:  CB&Q XM 41944
Description:  CB&Q XM 41944, Cicero, Illinois, August 1979, photo by Chuck Zeiler. I don't have much information on this car, it appears similiar to the CB&Q XM-33B's (#'s 24000-24349) built at the railroads Havelock, Nebraska shops in 1956. The cubic foot capacity of the XM-33B's matches that listed in the Official Railway Equipment Register (ORER). The AAR Car Type Code is listed as B201 in the January 1969 ORER, and as B207 in the October 1971 ORER. It is stencilled: HIDE LOADING, and the reweigh date is: CM-11-73.
