Train #214 orginated in New Orleans and contained traffic for Hamlet, NC. As per standard practice, the train was normally double-cabbed with the trailing section clearing Montgomery's Chester Yard of Atlanta bound cars. Once in Atlanta, the cut would be made between 866 and the trailing insulated box car, and, after a brake test, 214 would resume its journey to Hamlet |
