CELX 7502
Title:  CELX 7502
Description:  CELX 7502 was one of three such cars (7500-7502) owned by Celtrans. They were built by General American Transportation Corp. in July 1968 and had a capacity of 47,400 gallons. As such, they were among the largest tank cars built; but they were equipped with 70-ton trucks (instead of the more common 100-ton variety) and had a gross rail load of 440,000 pounds. Built to carry methanol, they were regularly seen on the Missouri Pacific and the Southern in Louisiana, and were retired in 1995. This one was shot in the MP’s yard at Addis, Louisiana.
