Waiting for clearance
Title:  Waiting for clearance
Description:  NYSW 3000 waits for clearance on the Buffalo Runner so it can get the train into the yard to drop off. Alongside me on top of this hopper was JJ Young. He was in his early 60's then, I was 30. He went up the ladder faster than I did.

Nicely posed
Title:  Nicely posed
Description:  Or, dont block the crossing. NYSW 3614 sits at the Marathon station in between runs to Cortland. The weather must not be too bad today. Festival goers are not bundled up against the elements, as they usually are for this event, which is notorious for its awful weather.
