| Westbound stacks pass an eastbound rail train, while paralleling Dewey Avenue in the Riverside "Quiet Zone." No horns allowed. The area behind my back here is all residential, with tidy working class homes. The westbound stacker has just come off the BNSF San Bernardino Sub and is now on home rails on UP's Los Angeles Sub, about to pass "Streeter." It's lead unit is one of UP's older ES44ACs, #5520, which was delivered June 2005. SD40-2 #3731 is a tad older though, having been delivered February 1980. |
