Brad Lowans	General	Ron, The Southern bought the original Norfolk Southern 01-01-74. The NS people like to say they merged with the Southern. These NS GP 18s were high nosed to Southern standards, given numbers in the 180s and 190s and put back to work. I photographed three of them in Southern black and gold in Lillington, NC in I believe 1974 on the old Fayetteville branch heading to Varina.	8/3/2011 1:17:43 AM
