BNSF 8132 (H-GFDNTW)
The daily H-GFDNTW rolls south under cloudy skies past the former Great Northern pole line (see the initials in the pole on the left) behind a pair of ex-BN and EMD classics. To be honest, this image was made possbile by utilizing a mask, a couple of layers to expose the sky and subject/foreground seperately, and some dodging and burning. What do you think...too much manipulation?

Charles Freericks General I'm not usually that big on the manipulation thing, but I think you did a terrific job here. It's really well done. 5/16/2009 9:30:10 PM
Chris Paulhamus General Thanks, Charles. I'm not really a big fan either; this was just more or less to see if I could do it (and to compare with the out-of-the-camera shot). 5/17/2009 3:57:37 PM
