| Holden, a small town of about 2300 souls in Johnson County Missouri located on UP's Sedalia Subdivision, sees the passage of Amtrak train no.301, the westbound KC Mule on a summer day that will see the temps break the century mark. The train will hardly break track speed for Holden- it's last stop, Warrensburg, is 14 miles behind it. The next pause will be Pleasant Hill, about 15 miles ahead. |
