Ted Brumberg	General	Third from last car is Sierra Western (SW) #500 SAN JOAQUIN, built in 1949 by P-S in Lot #6805 to Plan #7575 as SP coffee shop-tavern lounge #10317, reconfigured in 1963 to 86 seat coach #2241, sold in 1973 to Amtrak #7500, sold in 1976 to Rail Service Industries, later to SW #500. #500 was 1 of 8 Sierra Western cars in the consist of the 1984 World's Fair Daylight. #500 was later stored with several other SW cars in Willits, and was scrapped in 2008.
