What was the cause of this one? I assume the train this is a trains passing through since it has a EOT on it.

Makes you wonder as we photographe trains from the distance that the roof of the auto rack is from the tracks that anything can happen at any time! Always be on the look out...

The train encountered a sun kink about a mile before and the last four cars bounced along the gravel until two of them overturned.

Good thing the cars didn't fall onto the station. This is why I try to keep a very safe distance away from trains even while taking pictures - you never know.

Good point, Zach. Your ears will alert you if cars are off the rails. They sound dramatically different when plowing through gravel and clopping over ties.
