| Built 1912, replaced an earlier 1876 wood station. This was an main stop for mail and express as a post office was at this location since the 1870s and the station also served the Academy of St. Elizabeth. The old wood station housed the post office until 1900 and the new brick station with freight facility was built in 1912/13. The station is located on the College of Saint Elizabeth, the first women's college in New Jersey (founded 1899). |
