| NJ TRANSIT track crews, in one full weekend of work, have shifted Track 1 to the northernmost alignment through Plainfield. In the distance is the newly-renovated Plainfield Station and a tamper making some adjustments to the new alignment. Tracks 1 and 2 now straddle the work area. Note how smooth the new alignment is, especially compared to the unfinished track in previous photos! |
