| Frequently, usually on Saturdays, the New Orleans Public Belt Railway entertains groups of people on passenger specials that ascend the Huey P. Long Bridge to the superstructure and return to New Orleans. This year, new car LOUISIANA (at right) has been added. In previous years, only the CITY OF NEW ORLEANS car (at left) was on the train. Here, we see the train ascending the bridge ahead of NOPB 2008 as it crosses over the elevated lanes of Jefferson Highway. |
