CSX doesn't serve Norfolk. This train will terminate in my hometown of Newport News

The CSX Yard at Newport News definitely needs to be seen too - its pretty impressive even if not well situated for photos (especially being right next to Newport News Shipbuilding)

Newport News also has a park named after and a statute in downtown named after Collis Huntington (namesake of Huntington, WV) who is best known for his involvement with the transcontinetal railroad (the Central Pacific in his case) but also had something to do with the C&O (I think he actually formed the City of Newport News to have a port to export coal, but not sure). The Huntington Park is accross the street from the Newport News Amtrak station and has a C&O Steam locomotive which has been imaginatively put on display between a large number of trees such that you can actually drive right past the locomotive on US 60 and not realize it is there (I know I dirove by there more than once during my time at William & Mary without seeing the locomotive on display there). Good shot as always - the house makes for a nice backdrop
