The EL was known for interesting consists, and the Dayton branch trains provided some of the best. Unfortunately for the photographer, the afternoon arrival of the Dayton train in Marion was difficult to photograph due to strong backlighting conditions. Here, in a going away shot, we see an F7A & B, E8A and two RS3s, which are about to pull through the interlocking to east of the N&W diamonds, and then back into the yard. Date of photo approximate. |
