| Here is a caboose located near the old Alabama Midland/ACL depot in Ashford Alabama. It has been recently repainted into a ACL paint scheme. I don't think it is a former ACL caboose as it was formerly in a Chessie System scheme. However I am wondering how authentic is the paint scheme now?? Is it what we could have seen carrying the markers on an ACL train in the 1950's?? Hopefully so but in any event, the City of Ashford Alabama deserves much credit for restoring this entire area.
