| CB&Q NE9 13796 at Naperville, Illinois on November 7, 1963, photograph by Chuck Zeiler. This waycar (caboose) was built at the Aurora, Illinois car shops of the CB&Q in January 1920 with a steel underframe, scrapped at Eola on February 4, 1966. It appears to have a package on the back platform, I'm not sure what that is. It may or may not be work related. It is on a train dumping ballast along the main line on Track 1 at Naperville. |
