Guess what, I found out recently that the NS line is part of the ex-Wabash line. The reason I find this interesting is because my great-grandpa used to ride passenger trains from St. Louis to Chicago on the Wabash Line, and so he rode through this exact spot. Oh, I just noticed now that your description already mentions something about that being the ex-Wabash, so never mind about what I said. Great pic :) I always go up there to take pics of the NS trains coming by. Usually there are C40-9Ws that go through here.

I've had a very bad time with those posts in the foreground. I was riding my bike at about 25 mph, looking down at the tracks, when I hit one dead-on. I flipped over, and got scraped up pretty good. Nice shot.
